Save, reopen and transfer local lyric video projects

Understand browser IndexedDB projects, local preferences, portable project packages and the difference between editable work and finished MP4 files.

Local projects let you continue editing without a cloud account, but local storage is not a cross-device service. Know where your work lives and keep the appropriate files before changing browsers, devices or site-data settings.

Understand the browser storage boundary

The studio stores projects in IndexedDB in your browser profile. Layout preferences use localStorage. A different browser, profile or device does not automatically have those projects, and private browsing may use temporary storage.

Browser cleanup, site-data deletion and storage pressure can remove local content. Do not assume a project is permanent merely because it reopened yesterday. The website does not provide a cloud project-sync account.

Keep an editable project package

Use the project package controls to export the editable project for your own storage and to import it on another device. A project package and a final MP4 serve different purposes: the package is for continuing work; the video is for viewing and publishing.

Name files clearly and retain rights-cleared originals. If you use custom or remote fonts, confirm that they remain available in the target environment. The new browser must still support the media codecs and rendering capabilities required by the project.

  1. Name the project.
  2. Export a project package using the project controls.
  3. Store the package in your chosen location.
  4. Import it on the target device and inspect fonts, media and timing.

Inspect a reopened project before exporting

Check the first frame, a mid-song phrase and the ending. Confirm audio-producing video layers have the intended mute and gain settings. Inspect any remote font or newly imported asset before rendering the final video.

A missing or unsupported source is a problem to fix, not a promise that the editor will invent replacement audio or graphics. Keep an explicit workflow around valid source media.

Local media does not mean no network requests

The editor does not intentionally upload imported media for rendering or export. Hosting requests, remote font loading and any network media you explicitly select can still contact external services. Local storage therefore describes project persistence and processing, not an absolute promise of a network-free experience.

Clearing local storage is your browser's responsibility; contacting the operator cannot restore a project that existed only in your profile. Read the privacy and cookie pages for the site's current data boundaries.
